Olivia had her actual recital performance this afternoon. It sure has been rainy for JUNE! It feels like April instead! It was windy too.
Grandma Mary brought this quilt that Elizabeth designed when she stayed with her awhile ago. My mom sewed it up and quilted it on her new machine. Elizabeth was reading under her writing tray because it was rainy.
Grandpa Paul asked Olivia to come over and sit on his lap. He was getting cold. She is a good little heater. (If you are wondering what happened to Olivia's lips, she had a little filling done on one tooth on Thursday and bit her lip while it was numb.)
I brought some little toys Abby rarely plays with to keep her occupied until it was time.
This was something cool I saw today. These bikes are up on high poles and pivot when the wind changes direction (which is often in South Eastern Washington!)
Olivia is the third from the right in the front at the beginning of this video.
My mom and dad bought a rose for Olivia. They even let Elizabeth pick out the color.

Just before the recital we went to a graduation party for one of our regular babysitters. Their next door neighbors are also friends of ours and were finishing up a yard sale and my friend had this awesome lamp she was selling (they are moving to Chicago!) I'm thinking of painting the base of the lamp a fun color. What color should it be or is the color it is now just fine?
Still in the cue for tonight: Dinner, meeting with the sister missionaries, walking with friends, and then game night.
